Antonyms

I thought it relevant to make my introductory blog about something remotely close to writing, hence ‘Antonyms.’  Dictionary.com gives you synonyms, which are helpful when you’re looking for another word for ‘hick’ but when you’re really wrestling with hyperbole, the antonym is the far better literary device.

It’s also worth mentioning, synonym.com defines ‘antonym’ as:

a word that expresses a meaning opposed to the meaning of another word, in which case the two words are antonyms of each other; “to him the antonym of `gay’ was `depressed'”)

First of all, I have to agree 100% with the site that you’re either gay or depressed.  Welcome to my blog, Wrestling With Hyperbole.
